A number of our members, plus wheels, spindles, fibre and yarn, will be at the Bradworthy Arts Festival, in Bradworthy, North Devon. Come and see us in the Chapel Rooms every day over the festival, which takes place from 10am-4pm on Saturday, Sunday and Monday over the May Bank Holiday (4-6 May 2013). We’ll be doing spinning demonstrations and answering any questions and you can have a go with a wheel or spindle and see if you enjoy it as much as we do. Some of our members will also have some of their own crafts for sale, from adorable hand-knitted bootees to gorgeous felted accessories like bags and scarves. Take a look at our galleries to see just a taste of their lovely work.
Lots of other artists, including sculptors, painters and jewellers, will be taking part at venues around Bradworthy. Easy to find and with lots of other interesting things to do around Bradworthy, it’s well worth the trip – and you might even go home with the spinning bug! (It doesn’t itch, honestly).
